2 CR's are reporting a state tax lien. Both are reporting a different and inaccurate inital filing date, and both are still reporting as active lien, though its been paid and released for over 4 months.
Question, when I send the 2 CR's a letter concerning the innaccuricies and request removal from the record, should I send the paperwork from the state? If I send the offical paperwork from the state, would there be a better chance that they would just update and leave it on there?
Any advice would be appreciated.
All they have to do is update unless your state allows for the removal of a satisfied lien and you have that paperwork.
