Okay so I am excited I just got an SW update that my credit is now 612 so a 110 point jump in two months! Very excited and glad to see things are working out. Now on the other hand this dang child support account is KILLING me, now I know it doesn't matter when it comes to FICO scoring but just seeing it really bothers me and I don't want creditors who do a manual review thinking I never make payments which I do its just the Florida Department of Revenue will never delete or say I am making payments unless I pay off the 20k in one lump sum. So my question is there any benefit to adding a consumer statement saying that I do make the payments and I can provide paycheck stubs showing I do? Or just leave it alone?

Well, the consumer statement will only be considered under manual review.. and if you are doing something that takes a manual review, they will probably ask you what the deal is with the listing so I don't really see the reason to add it.. but it is there so you can briefly explain it..
I don't know of any examples when a loan app or credit app was approved because of what was said in that line, that wouldn't have been approved anyway
