Any benefit to opening a self lender account?

Would my credit score benefit any from opening a SL account? I have no Insallment loans but I have a closed sales contract from when I first got fingerhut 7 years ago.

Current credit cards...
Fingerhut 2950cl 0%uti
Cap1 Secured 550cl 0%uti
Cap1 qs1 700cli 0%uti
Discover chrome 3kcli $400 balance
Merrick bank 1kcli $4 balance
Amex blue cash 2kcli $330 balance
BofA cash back 1500cli 0%uti

I have one charge off that falls off this year on Tu and equifax. Experian report has no c/o or collections.
Current fico 8 scores are 680's and 700 experian.

If you have no other installment loans at all. Yes it will help. You'll gain points as its being paid down. Its part of the FICO credit mix. Good Luck!

If eligible, I would recommend a 5 year SSL Shares Secured Loan from NFCU. There are membership restrictions.
