Had a Macys card from 2007 that was CO. Balance of $455. Contacted Macys they say Capital Management Services is dealing with the collection efforts. Contacted Capital Management Services and asked for a PFD they said no. I was reading on here that sometimes Macys will do a pay for reopen. Should I call Capital Management Services and ask for this or contact Macys? The account is set to fall off in Feb of 2013. Doubt they will sue me over such a small amount so Im wondering if I should just not pay it all together and let it fall off? I could use the $455 to pay off to other CA leaving my with no negative balances and only student loan stuff.
