Anyone have a link to the Hippa process and letters? Ive been searching for a few days, and a bunch of the links on peoples sig lines are dead.

The Hipaa process is not available on the forum anymore.  If you google "whychat" you will be able to get all of the information.  I too wish the information was available her still.  The forum members are still willing to answer questions to a certain extent.  Some will even PM you answers!

Good luck.  I am sending off my last two letters to be medical debt listings free tomorrow!!!!!!

How come the information is no longer available here? I actually do not need it for myself.  I am a practice manager in the healthcare sector. I was going to pass along the information to a former patient who paid his account with us that had been in collections.

It would seem the powers that be have decided they no longer wish to have the examples and description of steps listed on these forums.  I'm sure they have good reason and doubt there is any ill intent behind having them removed.  The information is still out there on the internet and the extra search is just a mild inconvenience that serves the greater good.

The powers that be would have a very good reason for removing the forum. 

The original recovering from medical debt forum is listed in the archives at the bottom of the page.

It is read only but the information is still there.

An outside, 3rd party claimed ownership to the HIPAA process and asked us to remove the information. While these forums always properly referenced the source of the HIPAA process, myFICO avoided any issues and opted to remove the information.
