I submitted a BBB complaint for Mainstreet Acquisitions about 2 weeks ago because they were not reporting correctly on my CR and no one at the company would talk to me. They kept referring me to the CA that was collecting for them. When I checked the status of the complaint, it said that the company had until 7/17/13 to respond. Well today when I checked, the date had been extended to 7/27/13. Is this typical of a BBB complaint? I'm wondering if the company asked for more time to respond or if BBB extended the time as a courtesy to the company.
Just as a follow up to this post....this company fought me on this complaint, but I fought back and won. They finally agreed to remove the TL from all three reports. I checked my TU report and it was gone. It only took a few days after being notified by the BBB. I can't wait to check the other two reports!!!
