I have had success in the past with just doing it online. TU seems to be the fastest. Stuff was removed within the hour or by the next day.
When you start a dispute it will give you an estimated date of removal. I used that to generate my spreedsheet so I knew when to request stuff to be removed.

Do you see any issue with me asking early, as outline in OP? I figure: worst case is they bookmark for October; best case is they remove early; don't see any downside.
