Best debt consolidation loans out there

Hello,

I have acquired $40000 in credit card debt. I am paying a lot of interest on it and thought I would go for Debt Consolidation loan so that I only have 1 payment at a decent rate. I tried pay off but it gave me interest rate of 17%. I don't mind paying up to $1000 a month. 

My FICO8 is in 690s. I was looking for something thats an easy process.

Homeowner for equity loan? Any collateral? Member of CU? Thats no small change.

Is that $40k all on one card, or spread across a few different cards? Regardless, it'll be tough to get approved for a consolidation loan with that high of an amount and that high utilization. Try a CU as mentioned above, or maybe approach a family member for a loan, even if it's for less than the full amount.
