I suppose you became an AU on the Navy Fed card before you got cards of your own. I don't see any value in being an AU on that card, at this point. I don't have a military connection, thus no Navy Fed membership, and might be missing something special about that. I think you could have done better than the Blaze card if you waited a month or two. When I was first getting traction with secured cards, I was rejected for Discover secured in April, rejected at the start of May, approved later in May. Discover secured is a great card and it can unsecure as soon as the seventh statement. I would still try to add it, if I were you, maybe waiting a month or two to improve your odds.
Either way, in about two or three months, you can start checking prequalifications for "keeper" cards. Every situation is different, but I got my first secured card (Citi) in April, my first unsecured store card (Amazon) in May, my first unsecured Visa (Coastal) in June, got an Amex in July, and two more Amexes in August. I think the beginning of your trajectory is kind of similar to mine.
