I closed my First Premier card 2 days ago and my score increased 3 points. Not much but every little bit counts. They actually have a retention line... is that not hiliarious??!!!

First Premier is bugging me. I am hoping the CA they assigned the debt to will work with me and NOT post to my CR's since they haven't yet. Congratulations on getting rid of the card and the point increase. 1 point is 1 point in the right direction!

Thanks! I'd been disecting these threads debating it since I discharged. It was my oldest CC account but it was a fee magnet. Next will be Credit 1.
