Can I combine HIPA letters?

I have two collections, one paid, one unpaid.  They are with the same CA, and the same OC.  Can I send one letter to the OC using instert A, AND insert B, along with the payment for A?    Or should I send two seperate letters?  Thanks!

Write two seperate letters, but you can use one envelop. I see you want to send the the HIPAA letters to the OC. So, I'm assume you have done the following: opted-out with the CRAs and all of your creditors that you are in good standing with, updated your personal info on your credit reports and sent this letter to CRA(s) certified mail.

PRE-HIPAA MEDICAL DISPUTE LETTER       

Did the CRA(s) verify? And, did the collection agency mail you a complete and accurate validation of both med collections?

I opted out and updated personal info.  I did not send the letter to the CRAs.  Do I need to do that even if I am not really disputing them?  I mean, I know they are real.  Thanks for the help.

Yes, the HIPAA letter process begins with this letter PRE-HIPAA MEDICAL DISPUTE LETTER , and its a must. In most cases, writing the HIPAA letter to the OC should only be done if the CRAs verify the collection AND the CA sends you a complete validation.

The HIPAA Process is tedious, but every step is important.  I can personally attest to the fact that it works as prescribed in the thread written by HappyDays, I've already gotten one of my three medical collections off my CR.

Did you write the pre-HIPAA letters first, or did you just send the HIPAA letter to the OC first?

I have not sent any letters yet.  I just did step 1 and step 2.
