Kind of an odd issue, If another person pays a bill for you using their debit card does that reset the SOL on a debt for you?
The SOL is how long a company can sue you for a debt. Is that what your talking about?
Or do you mean the time for an account to fall off your reports?

I'm assuming you mean a delinquent/charged off debt. Was this debt paid in full with said debit card? If so, then SOL is a moot point.
The account was delinquent and a payment was made, however it was not brought current with that payment.
My bank statement from that time period proves that I did not personally make the payment.

You need to refer to your states laws on what can reset the SOL Some will say a payment will reset it but most will say that a new promise to pay in writing must be done.
