Capital One CLI!!!!!!

Great news everyone!

I followed the instructions on these message boards and contacted the Capital One Executive Office for a CLI.  I've had the card for 5 months...the 6th payment is probably reporting any day now.  Cap One gave me an unsecured card with a limit of $500 when I was starting my rebuilding journey 5-6 months ago.  My credit has improved a lot since then and I didn't want to get stuck with the one time CLI of $500 to $750.  I did a little research and e-mailed the Executive Office.  I sent a very pleasant email and thanked them for giving me a chance to rebuild my credit.  The next day I received a call...just like these boards said I would...and after some income verification questions I was asked how much I would like.  I asked for $1500 because I thought they would counter at $1000.  That was on Friday.  This morning I logged in and my CL is now at $1500!!!!!!!!!!  It's also not a hard pull, so you have nothing to lose by asking.

Thanks for the help everyone!  The process went exactly as you all told me it would!

Can I ask which cap 1 card you have? I have the Best Buy MC and would like to ask for a CLI...have had the card 2 years and never a CLI, PIF every month, so I don't see why they wouldn't, but not sure if RZMC is a totally different beast, especially since they're in the process of selling it...

 One was formerly an Orchard bank card.

I think it's just a platinum unsecured card MC, enrolled in the credit rebuilder program which is famous for giving a $250 CLI on the 7th statement and then leaving it there forever...and ever...and ever.

I don't know if it's the same office for your card, but you can google the contact and an email will come up.  This is how I started the process.

That's the card I have also at a 500 credit limit.

I also have the cash rewards card at a 500 limit

And an orchard bank one, with I think a 320 credit limit. 

I'll try googling.  It would be easier for you to just PM me whomever you emailed though
