Capital one goodwill

Well, only having two capital one COs reporting and one additional capital one card reporting 120 days hoping to try for another round of goodwill letters. The late account is suppose to fall off in 2019 and the two charge offs in 2020. They were all paid and settled and my last baddies. Do you guys think I am better off sending off three indivisible goodwill letters or just one for all three?

Re: Capital one goodwill

Good luck with Capital One. It's my understanding that they do NOT do goodwill removals under ANY circumstances. I hope I'm wrong. I've got one 30 day with them from 2014. I sent one letter. No luck. And have been told repeatedly over the phone that they won't adjust it no matter what.

If you get anywhere, please update. Maybe I'll try again.

Best of luck,

Re: Capital one goodwill

Google "Capital one executive office email" and send your goodwill via email. A few people including myself were successful that way... it's not easy to get them to remove lates but it has worked for a few. Best of luck!

Would just an email suffice? Or should I write out a formal letter and attach a Word document file? Would love to just write an email. Much easier Smiley Happy

Re: Capital one goodwill

1. Capital one has been documented in forums for approving goodwill letters. Not common, but it happens.

2. Not sure why telling me to google the email address for the EO has anything to do with my question. Am I missing something?

3. My question again is when I try for my second round of goodwill letters for cap one should I do all three accounts in one? Or do them individual for a better chance of success?

Re: Capital one goodwill

They have done GW's in the past. My last experience with them is a big fat DENIAL. I have sent letters to EO office through email, the last 5 times. They referenced my previous letters still refuse to delete TWO PAID CO's.

Good Luck!

Rebuilding and Reducing Debt, is my game plan.

Re: Capital one goodwill

My comment on you finding the email address was me trying to assist you with getting your lates removed..... it worked for me after being denied via phone (customer servive) and after sending several letters via regular mail. There are also other posts on here where several people have had success via this method.

Re: Capital one goodwill

Guess the confusion was the assumption to give me an answer for something I didn't ask for nor mention. Thanks for answering my question
