I sent a CMRRR to Experian (Experian.... PO Box 9701 ... Allen TX 75013) last week, I received it in the mail this week, with a big red stamp from James M. Swanson (probably a non-existent person) with a red stamped address of "Experian 701 Experian Parkway" and no city, state or zip code. Unfortunately, the receipt date of August 1 2008 is nearly completely hidden because whoever stamped it decided it would be a great idea to center the red stamped date over the black text of the Receipt Card. Oh well. What I haven't recieved is any letter from Experian regarding my dispute, nor has my information been updated when I look at True Credit. I have yet to receive an updated credit report from Experian, as well. When I had contacted Transunion and Equifax by phone, they updated the information within 24 hours and I received updated credit reports from both this week. I also received a True Credit Update notice from Equifax within that 24 hours. So yes, like your experience, my experience is that someone CAN sign if you send mail to a PO Box. For myself, how long should I wait for a reply and/or an updated credit report from Experian? how should I contact them again, if they will not respond to a CMRRR?
