@Wellspa Depends who it is. as stated, some will do a PFD, some won't. A PFD (in writing, get it in writing) is the best if you can. Either way, it will look better paid, and as it ages will have less impact. It also looks alot better than unpaid to an underwriter trying to make a decision to loan you money be it a loan or card in a manual review.
