Charge off question

Ok, I am preparing my DV. My problem is that I have never had anything in writing from the CA. All I know is they told me on the phone that they are Oxford Management, their area code is 516 so I know they are in Florida. There just happens to be 2 Oxford Management's in that part of Florida. Do I send one to both? How do I know for sure?

Search that. It appears that Oxford's corporate office is in NY.

What state are you in? If your state requires licensing/bonding of CA, check to see if they are. This could be a reason they are not reporting/sending anything in writing.

I'm in Texas.

Their main office is in New York. They do have to be bonded in the state of Texas, not licensed.

Do I send the DV to New York even if they have been calling from Florida?

Before sending the DV, I would contact the Secretary of State in Texas and verify they are bonded.

According to this link, they are not.

ETA: Upon further searching they may be bonded. Searching my city and state(Melville, NY) there are a couple listings for them. I would still contact the SOS and ask if each location must be bonded.

I dv'd the ca that won't give me anything in writing. Now my question is, what can I arrange with the oc to fix this? The oc still reports the balance, at the moment the ca is not reporting.

Is there anything I can do? I called Dell the oc months ago to pay them and they told me I had to talk to the ca, although as I have stated before the ca has given me NOTHING in writing as of yet, they want to do everything on the phone which will stop since I have sent the the dv with no phone contact mentioned.
