I want to thank those who posted their Chase GW stories. It gave me the courage to ask the bank if anything could be done to assist me in regards to a CO account from 2007. I did settle on the account in 2009 with a CA. I submitted a short e-mail stating the facts on Monday. I was shocked that I was contacted by a representative the same day stating they would research my account and contact me back within 1-2 business days. Today, since I didn't hear anything, I followed-up with the representative via phone. She assured me once she had an update about my account she would contact me. By 5:00 p.m., she called me to let me know that Chase would delete the account from my credit reports and I would receive a letter as verification of our conversation. If you have a paid CO with Chase, I would urge you to contact them!
Congrats!
That's good to know since I just paid a CO with chase! I am hoping to get chase and Midland who sued me for it deleted now that it is paid. I am just waiting for it to clear the bank and then I start sending my GW letters!
I just sent a letter via mail and sent a email today..... Hoping for the same success!!!
Is there any chance I could get the email address you used? Thanks!
That's good to hear. I mailed Chase a GW and haven't heard back from them. Could you please PM me the email that you used? Thanks.
Would you please PM me the info? I need to clear off one charge off from Chase. T hanks
TY everyone for the Congrats and I pmed the e-mail addy I used. I hope everyone has the same success I did!
Seems like emails are the way to go these days if you have a good address. Mail works too of course, but you hear a lot about being called back the same day after a GW email, which speeds things up considerably. The same thing happened to me with GEMB.
Great work!
Congrats! I just had the same success. The executive office does not waste time when a consumer asks for a GW. Chase rocks!
