Collection Agency not working with me.

I've pretty much decided to see if I can just settle. The original what was owed to credit one was 200 bucks so u think they would accept 300 to settle. I don't really care tif they put settled on my report because its one less thing owed and one less thing to worry about.

It's a longshot, but I'd recommend contacting Credit One and seeing if you can pay them directly.  Unlikely, but you never know.

As for the dollar amount to offer them, it doesn't hurt to lowball them.  If the debt was originally about $200, they may have bought it from Credit One for $10.  They're making a big profit no matter what, and they might be willing to settle for a lowball offer.
