Collection accounts listed under regular accounts not collection accounts

Can I have these removed as improper reporting.  If so how do I go about this.  I have 3 accounts reporting under regular accounts that are actually collection accounts.

Thanks!

DH has this too. Most of his activity is in collections and most of the collections are showing in his open/regular accounts. Only Zales, some local chick and Comcast are in the CA section.

No you can not have them deleted. At times they do show with reg. accounts.

I have to think that having them NOT show as a collection is better. I believe this because of the whole "bucketing" thing. If you have ANY collections, you've got that glass ceiling on your scores.

Actually whether they show up as a TL or in the collections section, the damage is the same. It gets coded as a CA either way and FICO picks up on that. Now maybe a lender who just glances over a CR without studying it may see it as a TL.
