Collection disputed/deleted

I had 3 med collections (NCO) on my CR from 2003. I really am not sure what they are for as I have insurance. We did take my daughter to the emergency room via ambulance that year, but I don’t recall receiving any kind of unpaid bill or collections. Anyway- I disputed as “not mine” with the CRA’s. TU and EQ deleted all 3. EXP deleted all but 1- it shows as paid, original balance = $50.00.

So now, do I DV NCO? Or should I just leave it alone and let it fall off in 2010. I don’t want the other 2 that were listed as unpaid to come back and haunt me if I continue to explore this one. Suggestions?

First call the ins company.....many keep records from way back!

send EX  the HIPPA dispute letter   CMRRR

PRE HIPAA MEDICAL DISPUTE LETTER TO CRA

You dispute medical accounts this way:

Dear CRA,
My name is xxxxx xxxxxx , my SS # is xxx xx xxxx.
I am sending this dispute certified mail # xxxx to make sure you receive it.
I have no knowledge or records of account # xxxxx being reported by xxxxxxxxx
Please advise me as to the name and address of the medical provider, the date and type of service, and to whom the service was provided, as any account I might have had would be obsolete.
If you can obtain this information, I also would need the name of the person providing this data, and the manner in which it was provided in order that I may pursue additional legal remedies.

Very truly yours,

xxxxxx
