Collection question

I have 5+ charge offs. 5+ collections (pretty new collections 6 month to 1 year), all from credit cards.  My score is 630.   My question is, if i get a new collection from lets say a cell phone company, will it affect my scores?  Or since i already have 5 collections my score won't be affected much? Thanks in advance

It will hurt your score but the impact will probably be lessened somewhat by the other derogatory items on your reports.   Likewise, having only one or two of them removed also won't help your score improve much either.

When I got to your point back in 2013 I was long past caring about my FICO scores; my only focus was on dealing with the debt.

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

^^^^^^^^This.....If you're in the 600's  and you have multiple charge offs, late payments and collection, you'll want to not focus on your FICO score and work on all the derogatories.

Strange when I had 5 COs .. My fico hit a low  Of 489....     A score in 600s?

Is it safe to assume there were more negatives on your reports than just the 5 COs?  Things like high utilizations and such?
