Confused about dismissal

So I couldn't find the form to vacate a judgment in MI, but I found a dismissal form. I sent it to the plaintiff in my case (old landlord), and they filled it out and sent it in for me to file. Can I file it? Do they have to be the person to turn it in? What'll happen next, is there a court date to allow the dismissal, is it done right away or will I get something in the mail? What reasons could it be denied, if any?

Re: Confused about dismissal

You can file it with a fee.  The plaintiff would have to ok it as they have done.  Once filed it is up to the judge to decide or not.  You may or may not be given a court date.
