Conn's Charge Off!

I have a charge off for Conn's that is on my credit reports. It is also being reported by Midland. Should I GW Conn's for a removal of the account? I am in the process of working a deal with Midland.....hopefully a PFD.....keeping my fingers crossed since I have read they are a pain to deal with. Any advice? Thanks for all the information in the forums. I am a new member and I have really been receiving a lot of helpful information. So far I have  4 PFDs from EOS, CCS, and CSD Collections!!

Will Conn's allow you to pay them directly and recall the debt from Midland or does Midland own the debt? 

I had a Conn's charge off on my report but they never sent it to collections. They went right for the judgment.

Does Conn's own the debt or did they sell it to Midland?

The account was sold to Midland.

You can ask Conn's to recall the debt if they can. Once the debt is recalled. Midland will have to delete their TL. If Conn's can't recall the debt than you will be stuck dealing with Midland.
