Credit Collection Services (CCS)

Good day everyone,

Here are my problem cases that I need help with.

  1. Columbia Collectors, Inc. $1,200 remain on credit 7/2023
  2. Credit Collection Services $247 remain on credit 12/2026 (PAID 1-26-2021) Phone PFD They said they will honor it.
  3. Enhanced Recovery $90 remain on credit 2/2023 (PAID 1-22-2021) Phone PFD They said they will honor it.
  4. EOS CCA $1,900 remain on credit 7/2021 (Can I ask for EE)
  5. Columbia Collectors, Inc. $2,400 remain on credit 9/2024
  6. USAA Charge Off $17,000 remain on credit 7/2023
  7. Bonneville Collections $314 remain on credit 9/202 (PAID 1-25-2021) Phone PFD They do not honor them.

Phone PFD: Credit Collections Services was very easy to deal with. They appear to just want to collect the money. I never asked for a discount, it was my fault that it was there, and I needed to pay it. I called the original creditor first, then they transfered me to them directly. I asked for the PFD, they said they will update my credit report as paid in full. I asked if they offer the PFD and the customer service agent said do I have a reason why it should be deleted. I explain to them what happened, in this case I had auto pay and i was gone on the road and never checked it because i usually did not have a problem and that I had already changed insurance companies and thought that i was done with the other one. I said no excuses it was  my fault for not checking. She said no problem, we will honor the removal, she would never say the words pay for delete by the way. She said the credit reports will update in 7-14 days once payment is cleared their account and could take up to 30 days based on the CRA's.

Phone PFD: Enhanced Recovery/Comcast; I did not hh Enave any luck with enhanced so i contacted Comcast directly. It was very hard to hear them, but we got right to it, the customer service agent collected the debt, he also allowed me to record our conversation. He said they will honor and removed paid collection from credit reports.

Phone PFD: Bonneville Collections, I contacted them to asked for a PFD, they were polite, this is the second time calling in. The first time they were very cold, so I was able to reach someone in a good mood. Though i made a big mistake, I asked what can they do for me today and she took some interest off the bill. I did not ask for PFD the second time, the first time they said outright no. The second time I just made the payment after customer service agent took off some interest. I ask if she could be kind an provide me with a PFD. She said you know what we do not offer that, but during the COVID-19 crisis they are offering for a limited time, however, because she gave me a discount they can not honor it. Its only for those that pay in full. She put a note in my file and said that I did not know and did not ask and they may still honor a courteous one time offer for CRA'S complete removal.

So note to those with Bonneville Collections, if you have the funds try to pay now and ask for removal under special consideration due to COVID-19 era.

Does anyone know if I can ask for and Early Exclusion on this collection?

  1. EOS CCA $1,900 remain on credit 7/2021 (Can I ask for EE)

Good luck everyone

Rule of thumb for EE is 6 mos in advance with TU and 1-3 mos with the other 2 CRAs. You want to call and ask for a supervisor front line reps wont know what you are talking about or will outright deny.
