This is for anyone who is rebuilding their credit and needs to see how it builds over time. I hope you all find this useful and I will update

everytime something new occurs. Advice and responses are welcome on this thread!

February 2012 - In a position to begin building credit. Pulled all three credit reports and was overwhelmed. Began fixing derogs and getting some secured cards

Credit Score - 523 Equifax

Derogatories:

• 3 unpaid medical collections totaling of 12K - (Created from an act of crime) DOFD's 07/2007 (Equifax Only)
•  Verizon Wireless Collection - 280 (DOFD 02/2010) (All three Bureaus)
• BoA Chargeoff Credit Card (Sold to another lender) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010) (All three bureaus)
• BoA Checking Acct (negative balance) - $223 - 02/2009 (All three bureaus)
  
• Asset Acceptance (Debt Buyer of BoA CC) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010)  (All three bureaus)
• Prof Mediation (Collection of broken lease) - $380 (DOFD 06/2008) (Transunion Only)

Positive Accounts:

• Absolutely Nothing

Decided it was time

 December 2012: - Made a few adjustments on my derogatories over the time span and opened three credit cards!

Credit Score - 613 (TU Capital One Pull)

Derogatories:

• 3 unpaid medical collections totaling of 12K - (Created from an act of crime) DOFD's 07/2007 (Equifax Only) (Dont know where to begin... Age off maybe?
• Verizon Wireless Collection - $280 (DOFD 02/2010) (All Three Bureaus)  Now a paid collection - Sending GW's
• BoA Chargeoff Credit Card (Sold to another lender) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010) (All three bureaus) -Trying to PFD (not working)
• BoA Checking Acct (negative balance) - $221 (All three bureaus)   PIF for PFD
• Asset Acceptance (Debt Buyer of BoA CC) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010)  (All three bureaus) Trying to PFD (not working!) May have PIF and GW
• Prof Mediation (Collection of broken lease) - $380 (DOFD 06/2008) (Transunion Only) Successful PFD on 11/27/12 (Waiting to fall off!)

Positive Accounts:

• Wells Fargo Secured - 300 CL 03/2012 -  CL Increase 11/12
• Capital One Secured- 250 CL 06/2012 - 
  
• Credit One Bank Unsecured - 300 CL 11/2012

Gardening at the moment! Looking for an installment loan of some sort. Dont know if I want a small car loan or a personal loan!???

 April 2013: - Weeded out main 12k medical collection through DV and complaints with BBB and was able to remove Asset Acceptance from my Credit Reports through BBB complaints. Was also able to qualify for an FHA mortgage and loan and bought my first house!!

Credit Scores are up 150 points since I first started.

Transunion pull today is 678!

Equifax is 645

Experian is 669

 Derogatories:

• 2 unpaid medical collections left - (Created from an act of crime) DOFD's 07/2007 (Equifax Only) (Dont know where to begin... Age off maybe?
• Verizon Wireless Collection - $280 (DOFD 02/2010) (All Three Bureaus)  REMOVED BY BBB HARASSMENT LOL!
  
• BoA Chargeoff Credit Card (Sold to another lender) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010) (All three bureaus) - CHARGE OFF AT $0 BALANCE
  
• BoA Checking Acct (negative balance) - $221 (All three bureaus)   PIF for PFD
• Asset Acceptance (Debt Buyer of BoA CC) - $1080 (DOFD 05/2010)  (All three bureaus) REMOVED DUE TO STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS (BBB COMPLAINT)
• Prof Mediation (Collection of broken lease) - $380 (DOFD 06/2008) (Transunion Only) Successful PFD on 11/27/12 (Waiting to fall off!)
