Good morning,
I recently pulled my equifax score from this website on 11/3 and it was 608, I pulled my transunion report this morning and got a score of 664, does this seem right? The last time I pulled my equifax (September) I was at a 646. Since then I have had no late payments but did apply for and get a bank loan. I've even paid down my credit cards.
I guess I was just surprised to see the big loss in points when I was more than positive my score would have been higher. Any one else experience this?
There are so many variables to look at when dealing with scores. First did you pull the scores from the same place both times. What has changed on your report? You have a new TL reporting, so you took a hit for that, plus you took a hit on your AAoA for the new loan. Has anything fallen off your CR thereby decreasing your AAoA. Has anything previous updated to change your scores. There's so much that can affect them you have to be very diligent to find the cause.
