Re: Credit one CEO email

Now what would be interesting to see would be the emails people sent -- redacted versions of the email addresses to which it was sent (so as to not really inundate the one poor schmuck who actually answered and tried to help -- and responses, if any.  We'd be able to figure out precisely what words worked, which didn't (possibly all of them), and who within the company had the authority to make it happen.  Get to crowdsourcing! Re: Credit one CEO email

I guess I got lucky with my 30 day late removal. Sent my GW letter on 12/12/17 and the 30 day late was removed on 12/15/17.

Did not receive a follow up email however I received a letter from “credit one bank office of the president” today via usps telling me they would remove the late as a courtesy.

GW letters do work !

Gmail - Credit One Account Inquiry for Goodwill Adjustment

I literally used an example I found on here, edited it slightly for my situation. Emailed CEO, received a form letter back from the secretary and it was removed within 2 days. They seem pretty easy to work with.

In the summer of 2017, I transitioned from the United States Army and
had my final pay delayed approximately 60 days which resulted in the
late payment for August 2017. Once my pay from the military was
corrected and my new employment started, I was able to pay as agreed.
I fully recognize my responsibility with respect to payable accounts.

I have been a Credit One Bank customer since May 2016 and during that
time, I have enjoyed my experience with Credit One as a credit card
holder. I am writing to see if you would be willing to make a
"goodwill" adjustment to your reporting to the three credit agencies.
I have one late payment, 30-59 days late on the above referenced
account during the month of August 2017. Since that time I have paid
the account as agreed, and plan to continue to use the credit card for
various purchases.

I would like you to consider removing the negative payments from my
credit report. I hope that you are willing to work with me on erasing
this mark from my credit reports.

I have been a very happy customer since opening the account and hope
to continue a long relationship with Credit One Bank. I hope that you
will deeply consider my request and I look forward to your reply.

Respectfully,

Re: Credit one CEO email

I was perhaps quick to jump to cynicism.  I have been doing computers for so long that I could see me sitting at my desk having much the same request come through and how that would be handled.  And my heart grew two sizes that day -- it's a Christmas miracle. Smiley Happy  Keep up the good work.
