DV but still on, now marked paid

Hi, I disputed with CRA earlier, before I had read much about DV with two collection accounts that I did not recognize. One, Certegy sent me a questionnaire, which I had posted about, so, I sent them a DV. Well neither one did anything, CR now says verified and paid....how do I now get them off? GW? Send a MOV to CR? ??? I mean how do I get a now marked "paid" collection off if I do not know anything about them? Should I just leave them alone? If certegy doesn't have a file on me, how can they know if it is paid or not??? Why wouldn't they just remove?

Also, when I called one CA about the other, they had no record...so I DV'd them, and they took off balance and just marked paid...what gives?

I'm guessing they sold it. Send another DV if you think it was never yours. I'd give them about 20 days then I would file with the FTC, BBB, etc. File a complaint with your state or locality if possible.
