Woke up this morning and Discover graduated my secured card and increased my credit limit from $300 to $1800!
Congrats on the graduation. My Disco secured went from $1,000 limit to $1,800 limit when it graduated, so they seem to like that $1,800 number!

Hi @MichWolverines1983 Congrats on your Discover Card Graduation.
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the grad!

Thanks guys. I've been responsible from the beginning and have nothing but positive things to come with my credit. On to the next step!
Congrats on your graduation! I remember when mine graduated. A great feeling of accomplishment and hard work.
Good to hear! What sort of usage patterns did you have? I've also got a secured card from Discover ($400 limit currently) that I opened in early Nov. and hope to graduate in 3 more months. I've been paying it off in full so no interest, but the reported fairly high utilization that first month (before I understood how that's reported).

My original limit was $200 but I added $100 the second month after getting the card. After that, I used the card whenever I wanted but always paid the balance down to 5% utilization before the statement cuts. So Discover reported 5% utilization for 4 months. The last two months I let it report a higher balance but paid the full balance on or before the due dates. I usually paid my statement balance early. Sometimes I would pay the balance (5% was only $10.00) as soon as I got the statement. I never had late fees or missed payments. Again, the last two months I did have to let a higher balance report but it was paid in full early.
Awesome. I'm hoping mine will have a similar graduation. It's not a daily driver but I make sure it's used at least 3 times a month. The higher limit on my QS1 makes it my daily driver by default. Initially I was going to just use CCs for gas only until being further along in my rebuild, but now I'm using a CC for 75% of my purchases and am learning the game to keep utilization where it needs to be.
