I have a collection that is very old.. So old I question that it should still be on my report..
On annual credit report the dofd isn't quite 7 years yet but I think that date may even be quite a bit later than I actually abandoned this utility bill..
Can I dispute it and just say "This is too old to be on my report" and see if they buy it?
Is their any harm if that is a false statement?
I have not paid it and it reports a missed payment every month and I think my score would explode if it was gone..
I would like it to be gone any my score up but I am unwilling to spend any money on it because I don't NEED the score right now and won't really NEED my score until after the dofd is 7 years anyway..
I think the dofd reported is 12-14 months away so it should drop off at 6years 6 months so another 6-8 months it will fall off? Or 12-14 months max?
IDK..
Utility bill from a bad split up and losing the place an entire different life ago it seems..
I have a 675 fico 8 right now..
I want mid 700s for real estate investment purposes someday..
You could be eligible for Early Exclusion, but I am not sure. When is the debt due to fall off officially?
like 9 or 10 of 2019 iirc
