I have an old paid collection from Comcast which is reported on my Transunion and Experian reports by ERC. I have been unsussesful in trying to get it removed by dispute or GW. I am not sure of the Date of First Delinquency. It was paid to Comcast. ERC refers me to Comcast. Comcast sends me to ERC. On my Transunion report it has a "Expected Date to Drop off" of 4/2020. Experian lists it as 11/20.
1. Any idea why it might be reported differently? How can I find the correct DoFD in order to calculate the actual drop off date.
2. Do those dates take into account EE (Early Exclusion). I should be able to request EE 6 months out on Transunion and 3 months out on Experian. Correct?

To find the true DOFD, pull up your reports from annualcreditreport.com.
DoFD is only reported on Equifax. Transunion and Experian have "Expected date to drop off", which serves the same purpose. My question though is why is that date different on them. If those dates do not include the EE period I should be able to request the TU entry to be removed but experian has a drop off date of 11/20 and so I would not be able to request removal with them until August, unless it is correct that EX includes the EE period in which case my collection will remain on their reports for another year. Right?
Have a similar issue where the DOFD was reported differently on EQ vs TU and EX. TU and EX was able to remove them but EQ is stubborn about it despite it being disputed and having it confirmed with the OC about the DOFD since the CA kept saying otherwise despite them reporting it differently (its pretty much an endless loop). What you could do is reach out to the OC and ask for the DOFD, then proceed to use that info to dispute it if it is truly different. Also keep in mind, each CRA have different dates from which it would be excluded but iirc TU and EQ should have the DOFD when you obtain the report an annual report. Im not so sure about EX.
A collection is required, per FCRA 605(c), to become excluded after 7 years plus 180 days from the date of first delinquency.
However, that is latest exclusion date, and nothing prevents the CRA from excluding at an earlier time.
The CRAs will commonly choose to exclude after 7 years, and thus not wait the additional 180 days permitted under the statute.
The expected exclusion date presented in credit reports is usually based on 7 years from DOFD, but the CRA is still in compliance until the full 7 years plus 180 days has expired.
Most commercial credit reports only provide the expected exclusion date that is determined by the CRA, and choose not to provide the actual, reported DOFD.
For collections, the debt collector is required to obtain the DOFD using the procedure outlined in FCRA 623(a)(5), and to report that DOFD to the CRA no later than 90 days after reporting of their collection.
Thus, the credit file should contain the reported DOFD from any collection within 90 days after initial reporting of the collection.
If the credit report does not provide the reported DOFD, then either obtain a full report from annualcreditreport.com or contact the CRA and obtain that information directly.
