If "CCS" is Credit Collection Services, then it does indeed appear that they do. Not sure if there are any requirements (one such common requirement is that the debt be at least two years old).
Here is a list of Collection Agencies that do and that do not do PfD (Pay for Delete):
i havent had any luck with CCS, sadly.
They just do their typical spheal, violates Fair Credit REporting act.
Samething with supervisors.
How do people get them to do it?
Update.
I called All State and the balance should have been zero, not 284 dollars. It was an error of some sort so my insurance agent is kicking it back to underwriting to have the balance be zeroed out. It takes 3 days.
Once that is done I'll get a statement and how should I proceed w CCS? Send them the letter? Or dispute it?
I would go through CCS first because if you dispute & they verify it could cause a score drop. Also they may just update the balance to zero and stay so try and get allstate to call the collection back since there shouldn't have be one in the first place.
Do I call them? How should I contact them? Send a letter?

In this case you need to ask them to recall their collector and that will get rid of CCS.
