Re: EQ report question...

The UTL is showing on my EQ. I am maxed out there. I have almost 0 UTL on TU though. Same with AAoA. The CA account is is the oldest account on my EQ. But the OC a/c is the oldest on my TU. So perhaps FICO is considering the EQ listing as an open a/c and not collections.

At any rate, its good to know what would happen but not for PIF purposes for a score increase. It could go any which way and removing the a/c later would be close to impossible. I cant fathom a CA agreeing to a GW. Also the CA could simply re-list the collection a/c properl, after PIF, under collections, thus negating any gain.

Do you have a report from myFICO? Yes

If so, look to see when it says your oldest account was opened. Does it appear it is counting this account?   oldest credit card account was 1/2004.  LVNV listed as newest account

Look at your util....does it appear these are counting? it appears to me to be included in utili

At any rate-- a creditor will know if this is a CA or not, based on the name-- no matter where reported. ok

Also, it is a negative account(likely) and affecting score in some manner. yes

I would work on having it removed. ok
