For me it did, first thing that happened was ERC reported and updated the status as paid collection. Then comcast sent the removal request to all 3 bureaus and it dropped off completely 30 days after I paid it. Just make sure and stay on them if something doesnt happen they will fix it. They were totally reassuring of that to me.
