Went online to dispute some old accounts that were due to fall off in December. It was done on 8/27 and just today all 5 of my accounts were deleted! I wrote this is not a dispute but I was just requesting an early exclusion. 5 down 2 more to go!

Okay, but what dispute reason did you use?

I ask because ON EQUIFAX you cannot just write in a reason without first choosing a specific dispute reason

Re: Equifax Early Exclusion

I just saw this forum last night.   I have at BK13 on my credit report that is due to fall off on April 2018.   First thing this morning I called EQ.  I was scared because I read that EQ was the most difficult to work with when requesting an EE.  The first CSR said he couldn't do it, but I called right back and spoke to someone else and they did it.   They said it should be removed within 30 days.   I then called TU and they removed it as well by filing a dispute and stating that the account is too old to stay on my credit report.   Then finally I called EX and they removed it as well and said my report will update within 24-72 hours.   I am so happy!  So by March the only ding I have on my credit report will be gone!   I'm thankful I ran across this or else I would not have know that I can ask the credit bureaus to remove a negative mark early.  Good luck to everyone!!

Congrats. You are one of the lucky few who had success with Equifax. Transunion and Experian success is common. But Equifax is a mofo lol.
