EQ is my nemesis right now. There are several loans for which I'd like to apply and each will pull EQ. It is a full 70 pts lower than my mid score. *shakesfist*

I got the exact same problem. Just can't get EQ to break 600 for nothing.

Very interestingly the same thing has happened to me too. I have been paying of some stuff and cleaning up my CR while adding trade lines, and for the past few months, usually my tu would be the highest, than EX and then far behind EQ. T and EX showed some significant improvements where my EQ got stuck at 580's and would not move. I still have one Cap One c/o from 2012, one collection that purchased the debt from Cap one, with $53 balance. And that's it. But since i have not been able to get them off of my report, i thought i would be stuck at 580's forever. Then all i did was increase the limit on 2 secured c/c, then 2 accounts, walmart and amazon with $150 and $800 starting imit respectively seemed to move the score to right around 600. But the huge increase came with those 2 accounts getting a CLI to a new CL of $3500 each, and then 2 barclays cc, $1K and $2K limit, and a 1% utilization, and the score jumped up like crazy. Within the past several months, i come to see that the easiest way to increase EQ score is by adding available credit. Ofcourse because each cr is different, so will be the effects. I can not wait until my $4K Dillards AmEx starts reporting, and i will update this post with the new EQ score. After all, hovering at under 600 for months, right now to my suprise, eq has become my highest score.

That's really good to know. I have an Amex ED from August that has yet to start reporting. Hopefully that will give me a decent bump. Still, I'm more concerned about the major derogatory being removed. It's very ugly.

I have two on each bureau, Cap One and the collection from cap one. Cap one from 2012 and the collection 10/14 I can not imagine how much my scores would go up if those were deleted. I would easily hit 700 if not 720s. I keep imagining one day i pull my reports and at least the collection is gone, if not both. because at this point there is not much left i can do except get cli on my new accounts like lowes, $300 SL, Macy's, $300, sams club $673. If i could get these to $5K each, with the $4K SL Amex on the way, i would be a happy camper.
