Erroneous Trade Line

I have a TL on my EX CR from Sunrise Credit Services. The OC is T-Mobile. Sunrise is apparently the first CA that got the defaulted account. The account has been assigned to Midland Funding/MCM, who is the current CA. Can Sunrise continue to legally report this account they no longer own, and if not, how do I get the TL removed?

You can have 2 CA's listed for the same account, you need to find out who owns the account.

MCM is the current owner of the account.

After paying just dispute it... Sunrise doesn't verify... It will get deleted...

Yes, 2 CAs can legally report but only one can actively collect.

If it is an accurate account you really should not dispute.
