@kiea
who did you speak with was it someone in the states or the dispute department? Did you ask to speak to a manager or account specialist? What date did your report say they would be removed on when you called in (2 months, 3 months ect)
had the accounts been previously disputed?
Thank you just trying to get some data points and how exactly to go about it, which dept to contact ect..
I spoke with a representative in the dispute department. I had an old Verizon account on my Experian report. It was scheduled to come off in January 2018. First I called in June 2017 because I wanted to know the exact date of removal. At that time I didn’t know anything about EE. The representative was actually the one who told me to call back in October to get it removed early. When I called back it was removed with 24 hours.
Experian will remove accounts 3 months early according to the representative.

Then how come every time I call they keep telling me Jan? I even mention the 3 month thing and e every time they say no, it’ll come off I Jan. It shows that Dec 2018 was the DoFD so I don’t know why they’re being a**holes.
I thin it's 7 years and 180 days is when it falls off. I think most places just drop it at 7 years though.
I assume you meant DoFD is 12/2011 and not 12/2018? If they do 7 years exact it would be 12/2018 it should come up. Maybe they do the month after and count the whole month while others just do the first of the month?

Yes, sorry I meant 12/2011. My brain isn't as sharp at 5:00 am. What's making me so mad is that on their reports it says it's supposed to come off in Sept. I've read countless people's stories on this forum saying that they got Experian to delete 3 months early and that they were told by Experian to call back on such and such date to get them deleted. I'm also mad because the first lady told me they were going to be deleted. I mean, I guess waiting a few months isn't going to kill me.
My stupid score dropped another 3 points today so I'm feeling bitter. It's not related to the disputes; it's because my Capital One card reported a balance of 19.98 because my son decided to buy 2 games on my credit card the last day of the statement and it wouldn't let me make a payment so that balance wouldn't report. Now I have 2 cards reporting a balance, so I'm assuming that's why my score dropped this time.

Sorry that sucks:/ I'm going to have my husband call and I'll report back. What number have you guys been calling for experian?
I honestly don't know. She sounded like she was from the states, so probably. Also the very first time I called I just called the number I Googled (866) 617-1894 and the woman who picked up was the one who helped me. I'm going to give this ONE more try and call and ask to speak to a US Supervisor. After that, well, I guess I'll be waiting until January.

here is what you might want to do...go to experian upload disputes, which is where you can upload documents to support your dispute. Put in a note that says:
"I would like to request an early exclusion for (name the account) that is due to come off in (date the report says). I previously spoke to a rep who said I would be able to request this off three months in advance, so if we could please do that it would be greatly appreciated" make sure to include your experian report number.
under this you have to upload a document, I just uploaded a photo of the collection account showing the date it said it would come off on the report (in PDF format..google how to change a photo to PDF, as it will only accept PDF uploads).
then I submitted. This was last night, it was off by this morning. I only think this works if the item has already been disputed, and it sounds like that's what they did when you called, so if those disputes are finished, try this. Experian can't dispute an item twice, so no worry about this going back into dispute. It might work, it did for me.

I think I may have come across the solution. I called them AGAIN today on my lunch break and asked to speak to a supervisor. They transferred me and the woman who answered said she was the supervisor for the membership dept. and that I would need to talk to someone in the dispute dept. So once I was transferred I asked right away if I could speak to a supervisor. The girl asked how come and that she might be able to help, so I told her what happened and she put me on hold for like 5 min. She came back and said ok these can't be deleted until tomorrow, so please call back then. I said can you preetttyyy please put notes in there so that I don't have to go through this all again tomorrow? She said she would, so I guess we'll find out tomorrow!
Unfortunately, they won't delete the collections account that TransUnion deleted. They said they can't budge on that one and it'll come off in Jan.... Yeah we'll see about that lol. On my annualcreditreport.com for Experian it says "On record until Oct 2018" so I don't know what these people are doing. I'm going to call back in Oct. and ask to speak to a supervisor so I can once and for all get rid of that god awful collection account ($1,600). I paid the other medical one for $80, but they still haven't updated it and it's been about 2 weeks. However, I read that FICO doesn't take into account medical collections under $100, but I still didn't want it on there. I should've asked for PFD, but I have another collection with them for about $30,000 that they're for some reason not reporting and I didn't want to rock that boat. That one definitely won't come off till about July 2019.
I hate these people, you guys. Called back on Friday and guess what?? She said no, can't delete till Jan because the DoFD was in Jan. I told her about the conversation on Thursday and even mentioned the notes that girl was SUPPOSED to put in there, but I've gotten no where. I give up. Thank you all for your help with this.
