Experian fax #??? anyone

I called Experian and in the past have faxed them the cover sheet from a dispute and they investigated and I called today and got a very rude lady on the line. I advised her that I had a fraudulant inquiry on my credit file and she said that I could call the company and when I did the company said they didn't have my information. I told her that and then ask for the fraud dept and she wouldn't transfer the call. Finally she put me on hold for like 20 min. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr............!!!!

I faxed Experian on Sept 8th and it worked great.  The fax number I used was 972-390-3838.  Good luck.

Donks3369 did you get a response from Ex from the fax you sent them? Just curious because I faxed some info to them this afternoon at the same number you faxed to and just curious if I will get a response. Thanks!

I never received a response from them.  I have truecredit and I noticed that what I sent in was updated about 2 days later.  They may be mailing me something but I haven't received anything as of yet.

As another update I was able to fax Transunion some info and they updated my file in 10 days.  Not too bad for a CRA.

Well, I faxed the information and followed with a call and they argued me up and down for security purposes they do not accept faxes. They also ask me to send it in by overnight mail. I faxed  the other 2 CRA's and within days they updated my report. I'm waiting to buy my new home and this is what's holding me up. Grrrrrrr!

Thanks to my FICO resources. You all are great. Until this board I was clueless to the credit world.

I'm glad that faxing worked in part of it.  Maybe it was that I didn't call and they just did it anyway.  Good luck with the others.
