I'm sure this isn't much of a big deal but logging onto my finger hut account only 3 days after paying off my balance and seeing it was moved to a regular account with a 400 CL made me super excited that i'm making progress in my rebuilding attempts.
Ordered a product from the fresh start fingerhut account for about 80$ on Febuary 12th and paid it off Febuary 26th, 3 days later I'm upgraded to a regular revolving account with them!
I made one payment a week after they shipped my items and then paid it off about a week to two weeks later, so including my down payment that was only 3 payments in a three week span!
So for those who don't want to stretch out a payment of 7-10 dollars for several months before graduating theres hope!

It is a big deal if it's a big deal to you.
Congrats on your rebuilding/building work!
Congrats! This is reassuring to hear because I, myself, just was approved for a fresh start acct, and spent about $80. I want to pay it off quicker than the 6-8 months, but from things I've seen online they terminate the contract and you don't graduate? So your post is a huge relief.
Also I read this in their terms and conditions tonight: "Credit Card Account: When you obtain a WebBank/Fingerhut FreshStart Installment Loan, you request that we consider you for a WebBank/Fingerhut Advantage Revolving Credit Account issued by WebBank that you can use for future purposes, and that we send you a card with your account number if you are approved. If you pay off your initial purchase within 6 or 8 payments or earlier with no instance of late payments, we will issue a WebBank/Fingerhut Advantage Revolving Credit Account to you. However, if you elect to pay your entire balance due at the same time as your down payment, then this will cancel your WebBank/Fingerhut FreshStart Installment Loan and you will not be eligible to be considered for a WebBank/ Fingerhut Advantage Revolving Credit Account. You will not be eligible to be considered for a WebBank/Fingerhut Advantage Revolving Credit Account if you make any payments past due, have any payments returned unpaid, enter a consumer credit counseling service program, file for bankruptcy, die, or if you enter any other negative credit status."
So that being said, I don't think you have to wait the full 6-8 months anymore which you clearly demonstrated!
How long did it take for it to show your payment amount? My item shipped last week, but my acct still isn't showing a balance or min payment due.

@Generally, Fingerhut will terminate a Freshstart contract when and if the account is paid in full from the time of first purchase. I bought a mop bucket set @ $90, made three small, consecutive payments within that first month, and then the final payment at the very beginning of the contract's second month and graduated to the standard Advantage account. It's only a small box you need to stay in for a short time before they end up letting you out.
From my experience, balances generally post to your account 3-5 days after an item ships.
FingerHut is one I recomment to everyone that is re-building. It was my second CC back when. Plus, the FICO score!
Mine actually never showed a minimum payment I was waiting and after a while I just figured it would come with the first statement which would have been too long of a wait for me, But the balance came a few days after I recieved my item so I'm pretty sure they wait until delivery.
Wow that's a good jump! Hopefully I can get mine up there.
