Fingers Crossed!

After reading the wealth of information provided here, I realized that there was hope at fixing my score. So today, I sent in three CMRRs to each credit bureau disputing multiple duplicated accounts thru different CA's. Sent two CMRRs for PFDs to PGE and Cavalry Prot Services, and two GWs to Wachovia and HSBC. Wow.. all those CMRR's were $45! I hope it is worth it.

Now, all I have to do is wait. Patience isn't my strong suit and I am excited to see how all that work pans out.

\o/ Thanks everyone

Re: Fingers Crossed!

Congratulations on finding this forum.  There is in fact a wealth of information here. Once you've gotten a solid grip on your credit repair you will wonder why Mike Wallace hasn't done a story about myfico.

Oh and don't be surprised about the $45,  I think I am closing in on $1500 or so.  Money well spent if you ask me.

PFDs do not have to go CMRRR. Send them standard mail. I sent my first PFDs CMRRR before knowing better as well.

Ditto. I stopped long ago, I just edited the PFD on mine to eliminate the 10-day requirement.

And unless I misread OP's post, you don't need to send the GWs CMRRR either.
