First Premier Card in Collection.

I have a card that is in collection.  When I call FP they say i need to contact CA but the CA is not showing on my CR.  Should I try and send a PFD to FP or a letter that states I would like to make payments and bring my account current and reopen card?

Some one had told me that if you send a check to an OC and they return the check unchased, that you can  have TL taken off your CR cause they rejected payment.  Is this true?

I would either PIF FP or send a PFD. I'd probably opt for the former. I don't recall reading any PFD success stories with FP.

Not true on the check. If an OC sold the account, they legally (or at least contractually) cannot accept the money. But legally, per the FCRA, they have to report.
