Re: First Premier Good Will Worked!

Just my personal opinion, but if you have charge-offs falling off in May, I would recommend that you wait until then & allow them to fall off.  If not, you run the risk of having that account updated, which, if I'm not  mistaken, will restart the collection cycle/process all over again.  I certainly understand the need to want the baddies off...NOW...but the month of May is really not that far away, considering we're already in February.

All the best to you.

Re: First Premier Good Will Worked!

I do not want this to be updated as I waited years already and I have a couple months to go

Re: First Premier Good Will Worked!

Hello Everyone!

I'm the original poster of this thread.  It's good to see so many people have benefited from the contact information and my story.   I truly believe the reason I was so lucky with the removal is 2 fold.:

1.  I sent the request during the Most Wonderful Time of the Year... Christmas.  I find that creditors are just more willing to help during this time.

2.  My letter was honest, complimentary to First Premier and tugged at the heart strings.

Basically, the timing and wording were right on.  If you tried and you got a "no"... try again!  Sometimes, you have to catch the right person at the right time.  Stay motivated!  ^__^

Re: First Premier Good Will Worked!

I wrote a letter got a rejection saying they have to report negative. I wrote a very heartfelt response basically begging. Same answer. Anyone have any other email or advice?

Also, the negatives fall from date for first late derogatory or the date i settled?
