So they ended up taking off the negative comments and all the lates! So it is now a positive, paid, closed account! My EX score jumped 22 points and I'm waiting to get word back on se collections before I get my other scores. I love this site! Thank ya'll so much!

In my email I honestly just stated my true situation. Mixed with a bunch of niceties and begging. Phrases like "ask for your help and understanding," "please have mercy on me," "I'm only 15 points away from being able to pre-qualify for a mortgage" really help. And I stressed the fact that mine was a paid and closed account from 2011. I would suggest a little begging, niceties, and using your true story to your advantage and that would probably make a difference. Luck to you all!
