First Premier Question

Quick question... I've asked a million in the last week and a few here know the situation I'm in... Buying a home, need to get my loan going, need a 700... Am about at a 690 on all 3 repoorts. Other CC stuff is dialed in or will be on the next reporting cycle. I have 1 item, a First Premier Charge off from 2008. Here's my quick list of questions.

I show a charge off of $300 for 1st Premier in what I believe is Oct. 2008. Does that mean Sept of 2015 is my last reported month? I've already asked for early exclusion from the 2 agencies reporting.

the MyFico 3B doesn't show the date it will be removed. Does anyone a report I can purchase that will list the month the will come off. Next Equifax and Experian on that one. TU already booted it.

I have 1 other primary CC with no balance. EQ shows a "Warning" for high balance usage, because I carry a balance on the 1st Premier. I need the tradeline gone (best option) or reporting a zero balance, Any value in paying now. Any idea when 1st premier reports? Any way to fast track getting the CRA's to see it's been paid.

Thanks!

Re: First Premier Question

You need to find the DoFD and then7 years from that date.

Best place I know of to get that info is to get one of your free annual credit reports.  It is clearly listed there.  If you have already used up your reports, not sure after that, unless you have a copy from the report you pulled.

Re: First Premier Question

As stated, you need the DOFD.

The charge-off must be excluded no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD.

The CRAs routinely grant their own early exclusion at around 7 years from DOFD.

If you have a charge-off reported in 10/2008, the DOFD was necessarily prior to that time, and usually 120-180 days prior to the date of reporting of a CO, so it should be ripe for exclusion any time now........
