Apparently I've used Experian's service sporadically over the years (but I have huge gaps in checking my score there).
So I thought I'd post my Experian PLUS scores over time in case people are interested.
Here's the story behind the scores:
In 2007, I was a stupid college kid and let some small retail cards fall to collections and get charged off. I didn't really do anything with credit for a few years after that but also didn't have any additional screw ups. In May 2010, I started "rebuilding" credit, but I was not doing so in any informed way. I did not read this forum at the time or follow a strategic approach to fixing my credit; I simply got a Capital One Platinum card and paid it on time. This past July (2012), I thought that since I had two years of timely payments, I might as well see if I could get a good credit card -- I applied for Amex Blue Cash Everyday and was approved. I've used that and my other accounts responsibly and didn't screw anything up, but I only recently joined this community and began to seriously work on my score.
Compared to the rapid rates at which scores can increase by following strategies in this forum, the improvement I saw by simply "not screwing up" was quite slow!
