Just put it on auto pilot and forget it. Good luck
Oh I know that has to suck. I actually noticed with my student loans that even doing a credit card payment with the money in my account it can sometimes take a week or so for the payment to actually go through on their end even though it posts immediately that I attempted to make the payment. Now that I figured them out I actually took the money to pay a month ahead and now make my regular payment each month and don't have to worry about it because I'm technically still ahead a month. Makes my stress level much lower!!!

+1
If your payment was due March 9th, and even though the NSF fee sucks you won't get a late payment post to your credit reports because you aren't 30 days late... Now, if you didn't make the payment by April 9th, then you would have a 30 day late on your CR's...
You may get hit with a late fee but it likely wouldn't be reported.
I don't know, it has never happened to me before and I even called chase yesterday to complain about this and the lady i spoke to reimbursed me $16 for ATM fees throughout my current statement but thats all she said she could do & im not complaining because I got the stupid $15 extra I had to pay the loan company back. I'm just still so mad because my whole point in doing it a week before the due date was to avoid something like this happening and then bam it happens. My account on there now says 1 day past due, so i guess i'm just going to watch it again to see when it posts and deal with a late that wasn't even my fault :/
Wow okay that makes me feel so much better! And it makes sense since stuff only gets reported 30, 60, 90 + late on there. I was really going off for no reason then lol.
I'm just taking this really seriously in rebuilding my credit and even something so little just upset me, but i feel better now knowing that!!
