I'm somewhat new to MyFico and I would like to thank the many people that contribute to this site each and everyday. I've learned an awful a lot through this forum and I'm back on the right track to 700+ credit.
Today I received my first GW Success from First Premier Bank. Their account wasn't due to fall off until Dec 2013. I'm pretty excited to have that negative account off of my report. I was wondering if anyone has had any gw success with Verizon or Midland? I've paid both of these accounts and was wondering if I had a chance for them to be removed.

Nice job on the deletion. I paid off a Charge-Off with them in May and they refuse to delete for me.
Thanks! Have you tried again, since you were denied? I have two more that I need removed, but Verizon isn't willing to work with me. I'm wanting to purchase a house with my girlfriend (she has 750+ across the board) in the near future.

Congrats!

I got a removal from Midland. I just called them, they said they couldn't delete, but she would see what she would do. Then, they just disappeared.
I will very much appreciate the contact!!!

Shogun I will give them a call tomorrow to see if it will work for me. After you spoke with Midland, how long did it take for the account to disappear?

Less than a month, it was gone on my next monthly pull.

Absolutely, it doesn't hurt. I figure they just got tired of dealing with me. ![]()
