GW failure

Well WFF denied my GW request ona  30-day late from March 2008. Since it's my only blemish, I'm not going to keep pressing the issue, and will just let time take it's course. Bt, they certainly won't ever get my business again.

Re: GW failure

It is probably hurting your scores. GW again and again and again and again until they help. It only costs a stamp.

Re: GW failure

Are you talking about Wells Fargo Financial?  I sent a GW letter to their local office and one to the one I found online.  I got one back from the local office saying I need to contact their main office.  Then I got back the one from the main office giving me the "We can't change anything" BS letter.  So now that I have a good address for them they are getting a GW letter every two weeks until they change mine.  Hopefully they get to know me very well.  Don't give up!

Re: GW failure

talulah: If I were you, I would continue the GW fight. With the late being so recent, based on my experience, it is probably bringing your score down quite a bit. I had a 30-day late from US Bank from January that removed and got more than a 50 point increase then the removal took place.
Year 2012: All Scores in the 520 range, during a foreclosure, CC Settlement and high UTIL. Very ugly days...
Jan 2026: EX8: 850; EQ8: 850; TU8: 850 -- Middle Mortgage Score: 827
In My Wallet: Discover $73.7K; Cap1 Venture $51.7K; Amex ED $38K; Amex Optima $2.5K; Amex Delta Gold $18K; Citi Costco $24.5K; Cap1 Plat $8.4K; Barclay $7K; Chase Amazon $6K; BoA Plat $21.6K; Citi TY Pref $22K; US Bank $4K; Care Credit $6.5K. Total Revolving CL: $300K+
My UTIL: Less than 1% - Only allow about $20 a month to report, on one account. .

Re: GW failure

From what I have seen here on the forun....they are very hard to deal with. This is a new baddie.....many companies  would not delete it now unless you have had this account for several years and naver been late.     Some will not delete no matter what.

I would send a GW to the main office about every 6 weeks..............6 weeks-the reason.........at times IF they are going to answer you may take 30 - 60 days..........some may just delete & not notified you.....CRAs do not always delete for 30 days.

But keep sending a GW
